JFK and the Midlife Crisis (2017)
The line up of JK68CS changed over the years. But from 2012, with the line up with Pete, Murray and Paul, newer songs were being introduced into the live set needed to be recorded. The world may not have needed a new John Kennedy album but I certainly did. It was an odd process working first with Moe co-producing from Berlin and when that didn't work out, back with Geoff at Zen in Sydney. The result, I can confidently say became the best collection of songs I'd done. It was great to work on another in my long line of low budget indie albums and find that the result was really satisfying to me and the band, and very well received by the audience that got to hear it. Murray quipped; if this album is a midlife crisis, I must be going to live to be 120 years old. I hope so because I'm anticipating many future releases. Stay tuned: the JFK Best Of Vol.3 is coming up in about 2070.
